What you will do
As the Industry Security Analyst, you will be part of a small team who manage the Defence Industrial Security Programme. This is an agile programme that is designed to ensure the protection of national and foreign classified material, equipment or strategically important NZDF assets. These assets are entrusted by the NZDF into the custody and control of our accredited industrial and strategic partners.

Please note: this position is required to travel both nationally and international. This would be either by air or by car; so a full drivers’ license is required.
What we need
To be successful in this role, you will have strong attention to detail to ensure a high level of accuracy and precise presentation of information; this is clearly conveyed with your excellent oral and written communication skills. You will have either a working knowledge of HB167 and ISO31000 methodologies, or have a tertiary qualification with transferrable skills in analysis, report writing and problem solving.
You will also have:
Ideally, you will also have a sound knowledge of NZ Government security policy and procedures, and have an understanding of the operational security risk and protection function in a NZ state sector context.
