What you will do
 
As the Information Advisor, you will support the future state records and information management processes implemented by the Digital Information Transition Project.  You will be responsible for:

  • Maintaining and develop relationships with representatives from all single services and other business stakeholders as required;
  • Implementing future state digital information and records management;
  • Supporting the triaging and prioritising of records for classification review; and
  • Digitising records to defined standards.

What we need
 
To be successful in this role, you will passionate about service delivery excellence, learning and changing services to keep up with customers changing needs.  
Your background will see you having both information management skills and experience, and great communication and interpersonal skills.   You will also need to have:

  • An understanding of the Public Records Act 2005 and the Privacy Act 1993 and an awareness of the Official Information Act 1982;
  • Experience using Electronic Document and Records Management Systems (EDRMS), preferably SharePoint 2013;
  • Experience in digitisation of records to Archives NZ standards.
