Parliamentary Service Information Management team

A six-month fixed-term opportunity (due to a secondment) has arisen to join the Parliamentary Service Information Management team as an Information Analyst.

It’s always an interesting time as we head into an election year and we have a great fixed-term opportunity for you to hone your Information Analyst skills at the heart of the agencies supporting New Zealand democracy.

Key attributes for the role include helping to support individuals and teams to manage their information well, demonstrated strong customer centric skills with a passion for the information management environment. You will play a key role in helping to manage the information in our electronic document management system (Objective) as well as provide training and support to staff.

Your strong relationship management skills will play a key role in providing support and advice across the business.

Reporting to the Manager, Information Management, you will contribute to information management projects and actively support the team to deliver strong and supportive information management programme to staff and business groups.

Specific skills and attributes sought for the position are:

  • Experience in developing and delivering information management services within a complex organisation
  • Skills with taxonomy development
  • Demonstrated strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • A tertiary qualification or relevant experience within an information management environment
  • Experience of working with electronic document and records management systems (ideally with Objective)
