About the team and the role
ICT Security, Risk and Assurance manage and maintain ICT Security strategy, policy, guidelines and processes to ensure that ICT security risk across the Ministry is understood and managed appropriately. The team provides a range of ICT Risk and Assurance Services such as, working with managers and teams to ensure robust business continuity and disaster recovery plans are in place, and that ICT risk is properly assessed and managed.
As an Information Security Analyst, you will report to the Manager ICT Security and work across the Corporate & Digital Services group to drive the implementation of a robust ICT Security, Risk and Assurance programme. You will champion good security and risk practice in your day-to-day interactions and will work proactively with staff and suppliers to; build engagement, identify opportunities, and foster a positive security and risk culture.
Skills and experience
To be successful in this role you will have practical experience in:
Salary range: $77,075 – $108,812
Applicants must be available for an interview within New Zealand, hold a current New Zealand work permit or be a New Zealand resident.
Applicants should also be capable of obtaining a New Zealand Government national security clearance.
