Find out more at www.healthalliance.co.nzAbout the Role:We are looking for an experienced Infrastructure Architect to join our values driven team. You will be reporting to the Head of Architecture and Design. The purpose of this role is to generate Infrastructure Architecture designs that conform to principles, standards and patterns, that align to the Northern Region strategic direction. As a part of the Architecture & Design team, you will provide leadership to ensure architectural compliance to projects and programmes.This role requires experience to oversee and align solutions to fit a changing environment. Deviations from standards are identified with recommended mitigations or solutions. A strong understanding of technical detail is necessary as this role will have accountability to review and sign off designs and documents.A full spectrum on infrastructure architecture experience (compute, platform, storage, data centre, backup, disaster recovery, network and other), forms part of the wider enterprise architecture for the region enabling the Northern Region DHB’s to deliver key strategic business and IT initiatives.About you:Ideally we are looking for someone who has the ability to use rigorous logic and methods to solve difficult problems with effective solutions. You will have excellent communication skills, and pursues everything with energy, drive, and a need to finishTo be successful in this role, you will need:At least one of the following (or equivalent) qualifications: Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA), Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE), CISCO Certified Network Associate (CCNA), TOGAF Certification or AWS or AZURE certificationExperience in designing across hybrid environments i.e. on-premise and cloud (IaaS/PaaS)5 years experience in architecting and designing for high availability and disaster recovery over multiple geographical locationsProven working knowledge of project management processes and methodologies and experience assisting PM’s to plan technical tasks and estimate time frames.Proven ability to build and sustain strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders across the Northern Region related organisations.Working in health brings its own special kind of reward and we’re passionate about it.
