About you: 

People you work with may describe you as an outstanding infrastructure strategist and architect. It will be a breeze for you to provide leadership across your current organisation, delivering Enterprise wide infrastructure strategies, roadmaps and architectures through your engaging style and influencing power. 
You will be a true believer in better outcomes for your organisation and have a pragmatic approach to architectural methodologies and practices and the desire to provide thought leadership in areas such as infrastructure, cloud and networking.  

What will you be doing? 

You’ll be working closely with our key stakeholders (Head of Technology Transformation, the Leadership team and the Digital function team). As in most roles, your ability to communicate is essential to build your relationships to enable you to get stuff done. Of course, you will be working with many stakeholders, delivering infrastructure architecture artefacts and bringing clarity and leadership on what needs to be delivered i.e. infrastructure roadmaps. 

Requirements for the role 

  • Ability to communicate with stakeholders in their own language  
  • Ability to engage with other architects in developing architectural deliverables. 
  • Experience collaborating with stakeholders to: capture current state architecture, define future state architecture, and develop a transitional architectures and roadmap between the two. 
  • Experience in  the infrastructure transition from data centres to public cloud services (SaaS, PaaS, IaaS),  ideally in AWS and Azure . 
  • A strong understanding of networking and security principles and practices and how they apply to infrastructure and  public cloud services
