Police Intelligence plays a pivotal role in prevention policing by informing and driving the deployment of operational resources, providing an understanding of the criminal environment and facilitating evidence-based action. Auckland City District Intelligence unit is currently looking for dynamic, highly organised, self-starters to fill multiple vacancies as Intelligence Support Officers in our team.
Intelligence Support Officers contribute to prevention of crime and road trauma and disruption of criminal activity through providing a range of specialist support services. For example, researching and collating information, contributing to intelligence products, and providing support to the District Command Centre.
