The Engagement and Partnerships Group supports the success of Waka Kotahi by strengthening relationships with our central and local government partners, communities and industry. We do this by telling great stories about the work Waka Kotahi does. Our exciting and diverse work spans a range of partners and stakeholders – we support Ministers, coordinate collaboration across central government, lead constant dialogue with our local government partners, and engage directly with the New Zealand public.
The opportunity | Te Whiwhinga mahi
You will help connect our people with Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency and its work. Through best practice engagement and communications, you’ll be helping ensure our people are kept informed and motivated through a variety of content that highlights the amazing work our people do and have the important information they need to know.
You’ll be a trusted advisor and a champion connector across the organisation as well as providing communications planning and delivery for a range of initiatives and business activity across our organisation so that the Transport Agency is well supported to achieve its goals.
These are key roles within the team; You will provide strategic, proactive and timely internal communications advice to the business. You will take the lead on the delivery of communications and engagement for programmes of work that will influence how local government and our partners develop a better transport system to meet their community needs. Working with our business partners, you will develop and implement engagement and communications frameworks and plans, including mitigating risk.
