About The Role

This role is responsible for the strategic end to end planning of investor engagement to ensure the continued success of the Wealth business. Working collaboratively with Product, Investment Management, Marketing and Corporate Affairs the role will ensure the effective delivery of an investor engagement plan to ANZ’s KiwiSaver, Funds Management and Private Banking clients, as well as internal staff and distribution partners. 

The role is responsible for the Wealth and Private Bank investor engagement plan along with some technical and regulatory content and coordination of stakeholders to execute the plan, along with providing oversight and support to ensure content is consistent across all channels, well planned and delivered in a timely and relevant manner. It will also ensure integration of planning with bank wide units.

  • Lead the development and management and ensure effective delivery of investor engagement plan ensuring it reflects our business and investment strategy, market data and insights tailored for target audiences.
  • Assist with creating investment related content that helps drive/meet our financial literacy and education requirements
  • Ensure the application of best-practice communication process and operational planning continues to evolve within Wealth, aligned to wider bank strategy and the needs of the audience.
  • Establish and manage a content forum to engage the right stakeholders and to set and agree the investor engagement calendar and prioritisation of deliverables.
  • with agreed SLAs, and ensure that appropriate quality control measures are maintained to ensure the integrity and accuracy of content generated.
  • Ensure that all content contain the appropriate sign-offs, warranties and disclaimers and follow sign off processes.

    About You

    To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

  • Tertiary qualification in Communications, Commerce, or Finance or related fields (preferred)
  • Proven influencing skills and track record of juggling competing priorities, time critical deliverables and delivering outcomes across direct, indirect and cross functional lines
  • In depth understanding of financial services environment, financial media and consumer preference
  • Demonstrated experience working with industry groups, key stakeholders, customers, media, media agencies, regulators, Government Officials and Government
  • Strong and demonstrated experience in writing on financial and investment topics.
  • Proven excellence in communications and presentation skills – oral and written
