Inward/Outward Goods Team Member

Mastip is a leading supplier of innovative hot runner solutions to the global plastic injection moulding industry. Our solutions support many markets including engineering and industrial, electrical and electronics, packaging, appliances, caps and closures, medical, automotive and optical. 

Due to strong company growth and a valued team member moving up, we have the opportunity for a full time Inward/Outward Goods Team Member to join us at our site in Avondale Auckland.

Your focus on an excellent attention to detail and organisation will serve you well in this role. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Receiving inwards stock and managing returns.
  • Ensure that all delivery vehicles are loaded and unloaded in a timely manner
  • Checking on all deliveries for any noticeable transit damage and ensure any damaged is noted on the delivery paperwork (scanner) prior to signing.
  • Pick up and delivering of goods around Auckland
  • Verifying stock received to supplier documentation and Mastip purchase order to ensure accuracy of goods and paperwork
  • Processing stock in a logical order based on when it is received and any other urgent requirements.
  • Processing the stock received in the system
  • Efficiently and accurately pick components for the applicable outwork process
  • Ensuring all work orders / requisitions are closed on time and for the correct materials and quantities
  • Ensuring that all items in stock remain in good condition and are protected where required
  • Ensuring that all stock is stored in a methodical and identifiable manner and consumed on a rotational basis (FIFO)
  • Coordinating with other departments to ensure smooth processes are maintained
  • Contributing to the continual improvement of warehouse processes and procedures
  • Our ideal candidate will have:

  • Good spoken and written English.
  • The legal right to work in New Zealand.
  • Previous warehouse experience advantageous.
  • Full drivers? licence and be able to drive a manual transmission vehicle.
  • Current Forklift certificate.
