What does an average day look like?

No day is average at flexigroup but heres an idea of what you can expect to do in this role and what you will be responsible for:

  • Operating autonomously, while exploring new and better solutions to our customers challenges
  • Estimate time to complete tasks
  • Develop code
  • Correct utilisation of the Software Configuration Management Tool to support the software development lifecycle
  • Specification of system test use case 
  • 3rd Level Support across applications
  • Build new features for the company’s platform 
  • Creating unit tests for existing and new systems
  • Constantly identifying and implementing improvements

    This role is a Junior – Intermediate role and you will be a Java/.net Developer who comes with proven experience working across the full Software Development Life-Cycle in a highly Agile environment.

    The Tech stuff:

  • Development skills in Java and .net
  • Interest in or experience with SpringBoot, Spring Framework, Spring Security, JPA, Spring Data/Hibernate, Angular, RESTful, SOAP, Microservice Architecture, Docker, AMQP (RabbitMQ), OAuth 2.0, GIT
  • Ideally experienced in DotNet Core, Azure Devops CI/CD, VB6, RabbitMQ, Log Analytics
  • Object Oriented Design and Programming (Principles and Practice)
  • XML, Web Services, XSL/XSLT and DOM
  • SQL Server 2008 and above – Data Modelling – Expert Level
