Kait&#257tari/ Kait&#257tari Matua – Analyst/Senior Analyst

Engaging with a range of stakeholders, you will take a lead role in designing and developing policy advice for Regulatory Product Stewardship schemes.

You will work alongside Senior Analysts within the team and have an opportunity to work with subject matter experts to develop your policy skills. You will also have the opportunity to contribute more widely to improving our national approach to waste.

Our ideal candidate will bring:

demonstrated experience in policy development and design
proven experience delivering quality work in a fast-paced environment
demonstrated skills in stakeholder management and engagement across diverse groups
a desire to influence and think creatively to achieve results
strong relationship management skills, quickly building credibility and trust
commitment to developing your cultural capability and capacity in te ao Māori

Most importantly you will be passionate about looking for realistic and effective ways of achieving environmental outcomes that can engage all stakeholders. Project management and experience in the waste and resource industry would be an advantage.

Salary range:

Analyst – $69,848 pa to $87,808 pa/Senior Analyst – $97,033 pa to $121,984 pa. Appointment within these ranges will be based on skills and experience.
