Your new role:
The Foodstuffs Business Development Manager will be externally focused and responsible for managing Unilever’s Joint Business Plans.
The Business Development Manager will work closely with the Foodstuffs Customer Team, Category & Field Team, as well as stores to deliver results.
The Business Development Manager is responsible for the turnover, profitability & market share delivery across all Joint Business Plan categories within the customer channel. They will do so whilst building, negotiating and executing the commercial Joint Business Plans.
+ Deliver Turnover, Profitability & Market Share growth within customer channel.
+ Develop and deliver Joint Business Plans with the Customer.
+ Lead the Joint Business Plans from end to end working alongside the Customer & Category Teams.
+ Identify growth opportunities and potential areas of development
+ Develop strong relationships with both internal (e.g Category, Customer, Shopper Insights, & Regional Field Sales Managers) & external (e.g Store Owners, Buyer & Managers).
+ Leadership and coaching of the Business Managers within specified areas.
+ Day to Day administration and evaluation of the Joint Business Plans, which includes reporting of results to NZ Leadership Team
+ Provide both the Customer & Category Teams with insights and feedback on the joint business plan performance
+ We are looking for an experienced Key Account Manager with a minimum 3 years’ experience ideally within FMCG. Territory Manager experience preferred but not essential.
+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
+ Proven sales management ability including outstanding negotiation skills
+ Excellent communication skills.
+ Highly motivated and attention to detail
+ Strong financial acumen
