Our Exciting Opportunity

Ericsson New Zealand is growing! We are looking for a commercially minded individual with exceptional business development skills to support and drive delivery and growth in our Radio and Core business.

Working with local and Australia-based technical and sales teams, you will impress with your knowledge of the New Zealand Telecommunications landscape, commercial acumen and ability to drive business development activity to closure. Experience in the telecommunications industry and deep building and maintaining deep commercial relationships will be key to success!

Responsibilities:

  • Secure short and long-term business through proactive business development
  • Manage and deploy resources based on exceptional customer orientation and business knowledge
  • Full responsibility for Sales, Cost of Sales and OpEx
  • Work with NZ and trans-Tasman teams to drive customer satisfaction results
  • Develop the business relationship with a view to making the customer successful
  • Key skills and experience:

  • Tertiary qualification – MBA, Master of Science or similar preferred
  • Senior relationship sales experience acquired in the Telco industry
  • Experience in leadership positions that include financial responsibility
  • Strong negotiation and consultative skills
