Hours of work are permanent part time (24hrs per week). Shifts are either 06.00 – 15.00 or 16.00 – 20.00. We also have casual opportunities available if part time does not suit your schedule.As a Kitchen Hand you’ll be tasked with keeping our kitchen environment clean, orderly and safe. You’ll also be flexible and adaptable and will be able to assist in other tasks relating to our food delivery system when required.Responsibilities included but not limited to:Keeping all kitchen work surfaces (counters, sinks, stoves, walls) clean and sanitizedCleaning of floors at the beginning and ending of shiftsDeep clean projects when required by supervisors/managersStocking up of all cleaning supplies including hand towels, soap & sanitizerBe ready to clean up spills to avoid hindering operationsDecluttering of kitchen space of any empty packagingAsist with equipment and ingredient deliveriesOrganisation of food and supply storage areasAssisting in trolley deliveries to wards and collections when requiredSupporting successful execution of trayline servicesSupporting supervisors to complete shift cleaning responsibilitiesHelping with routine food prep tasks, when neededRefuse controlIf you’re our perfect candidate you will be a team player and reliable, with a friendly a ‘can do’ attitude.
