We are looking for an enthusiastic Laundry Assistant to join our team and work at our Senior Living Site in Mangere, Auckland. Hours of work are on a casual “as & when required basis” which means you will support our team when cover is required on an adhoc basis. In this position you will be responsible for performing laundry duties, cleaning of premises and equipment whilst adhering to health, safety and security procedures. You will be maintaining and storing cleaning equipment and chemicals, and other tasks as required. You will provide great service to customers and work effectively as a team as well as individually.If you’re our perfect candidate, you will have a high attention to detail and be willing to go the extra mile. You will take pride and ownership of the role, be able to use your initiative and work safely, as well as a have a friendly outgoing personality and a ‘can do’ attitude. You will demonstrate good working knowledge of commercial cleaning and infection control procedures and have excellent communication and strong organisational skills. Ideally you will have previous experience in a similar role and have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment but, most importantly, you will demonstrate a passion for great laundry services, customer service and quality.People are not just at the heart of our business – they are our business.
