We are currently seeking a Service Technician to join our Honeywell Building Solutions team in our Auckland City office. Reporting to the Field Service Supervisor, your focus will be to service our customer sites with a focus on Security and Access Controls – maximising customer satisfaction and minimising customer site downtime by providing exceptional technical support.Key Responsibilities: Service, maintenance and commissioning of Honeywell and third-party equipment (as per trade expertise). This includes day to day servicing, calibrations and maintenance; including Diagnoses, repairs faults Ensuring customer satisfaction through direct liaison with client representatives, customers and service recipients Achievement, measurement and reporting of performance indicators and site service objectives Reporting near misses, incidents and other opportunities for improvement. This includes carrying out hazard and risk assessments for all tasks as per company policy and procedures Plan and document maintenance and repair activity as per contractual requirements and relevant guidelines, legislation and codesKey Experience & Capabilities: Preferred Trade Certificate in Electronics or a related discipline Practical experience working with CCTV and Security access systems You must hold a valid driver’s licence authorising you to drive the Honeywell Tool of Trade vehicle. Electrical experience: Basic knowledge of electrical diagrams and electrical switching Instrumentation experience – Knowledge of instrumentation devises and control applications Knowledge of Computerised Maintenance Management systems and proceduresAbout UsThe world is changing.
