What will you do?

Reporting to the Manager Learning Delivery, you will be instrumental in the delivery of learning solutions to frontline Oranga Tamariki staff. You will have an inspirational facilitation style which provides participants with a learning experience that takes learning content beyond the workshop environment and into the frontline working space for immediate application.

A key importance in this role will be your ability to work across the Professional Development team to understand delivery imperatives and priorities.  You will build collaborative relationships that seek and encourage feedback, which supports colleagues to improve materials for delivery and which enables you to take ownership for excellence in all aspects of delivery.

 

What will you bring?

  • The ability to deliver adult learning solutions using a culturally appropriate lens and within a Te Ao Māori delivery space
  • Proven ability to work effectively within a culturally diverse workplace
  • A solid understanding of adult leaning techniques and working with both set and developing content
  • Able to deliver using modern adult learning approaches and methodologies
  • A highly collaborative and customer service approach with the ability to build relationships with content experts
  • Experience using your coaching and mentoring skills to support and build the capability of emerging facilitators
  • Strong organisational and planning skills with the ability to prioritise
  • Excellent communication skills both verbally and written with the ability to communicate outcomes and improvements in delivery for the organisation
