We are looking for a Legal Secretary to join a specialist law firm within Auckland CBD

About the role:

The firm is looking for an Legal Secretary with a track record of administrative experience in a law firm or financial institute. You will be able to hit the ground running and eager to learn and be wanting to expand on your legal experience and exposure. You will provide strong support to busy lawyers, associates and partners and build yourself a long lasting, successful career within law.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diary and inbox management
  • Document management, document mark-ups and comparisons
  • Working with Partners to produce first drafts of Leases
  • Giving support during settlements (administrative duties including; producing sales schedules in Excel and merging documents in Word)
  • Building strong and sustainable rapport with Authors
  • Administrative support (expenses, statements, training, maintaining the database)
  • Key Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a legal secretary / PA in another Law firm
  • Exceptional organisation and prioritisation skills
  • Adaptable and ability to meet deadlines/ works well under pressure
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to build strong rapport with Authors and Clients
  • Microsoft proficiency with Microsoft Word Office Suite, ability to pick up new systems quickly and excellent document and diary management
