Key responsibilities:

The Major Development Interface Lead is a key part of our Development Planning team, having a lead role in shaping the outcomes from significant urban development projects such as the Auckland Housing Programme and large scale multi stage subdivisions by providing technical direction prior to and as part of consent processes to ensure the form and function of these new developments integrates with and supports transport system outcomes. The design of streets, paths, lanes and links – the movement network – is one of the most important considerations in creating vibrant, safe and prosperous places.

 Understanding the broader transport system is critical to this role and requires an excellent and detailed understanding of the broader transport system needs and objectives, opportunities and risks and the complex planning and funding ecosystem in which this is achieved.
