Are you looking to take your admin career up a gear? We now have an exciting opportunity for you to make your mark! We are keen to see applications from highly motivated and experienced administrators to join our Operations team on a permanent, full time basis. This team is part of the Specialist Services Directorate and covers a large and diverse nursing workforce.
About the role
Reporting to the two Directors of Nursing for Surgical and Medicine and providing executive level support to the respective Directorate Leadership Teams, this demanding but rewarding role sees you providing high-level administration support, while being the interface with the staff of services in the manager’s portfolio as well as external organisations.
A busy and largely autonomous role, your daily routine could involve any of the following activities and other general administrative tasks:
Competing priorities are inherent in this role due to the dual reporting structure, therefore it is absolutely essential you have the flexibility and demeanour to prioritise, and reprioritise your workload to suit the dynamic needs of these directors.
In order to hit the ground running we think it is essential you have a background in administration at a senior level, and demonstrate skills to anticipate, prioritise and deliver to ever changing time frames. You have the ability to take direction when required and the confidence to build successful working relationships across a large organisation, while your eye for detail and use of initiative see you accomplishing complex tasks with minimal supervision. Naturally you possess a highly professional demeanour and be an exceptional communicator who can offer trusted support.
You are a star multi-tasker who can think on your feet, and it goes without saying that you have excellent computer skills, and are more than proficient in Excel, Word and Outlook, and with PowerPoint would be advantageous.
The salary for this fulltime permanent position is from $54,929 to $63,915 per annum, and will be based on relevant experience and qualifications.
