About the position:

Duties for this roleinclude the planning and implementation of programme delivery; providingleadership, academic management and support to academic kaimahi (staff); beingresponsible for the teaching and learning activities of programmes within theallocated geographical area; and ensuring all programmes offered are deliveredaccording to the curriculum guidelines and compliance is monitored followingthe policies and standards.

About you:

To be considered for this role you will hold:

  • A Master’s Degree, preferably in Social Work.
  • Have current registration with the NZ Social Workers Registration Board
  • Full New Zealand driver’s license
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Word/Excel/Outlook.
  • Ability to learn how to navigate a variety of systems within our organisations.
  • Adult teaching experience
  • Management experience
  • Skills required for this role include excellent written and oral communication skills, excellent relationship management skills, excellent planning and project/task managements skills along with proven ability to anticipate leadership requirements and provide timely information to support decision-making.
