Fundamental to the work we do and our commitment to doing it well, is our Policy and Overseas Investment Group (POI).
Our POI Group provide policy and regulatory stewardship for LINZ’s core areas of responsibility. Following changes to the Overseas Investment Act, we’ve had the opportunity to expand our Monitoring and Enforcement Teams. Our professional, highly skilled and savvy team is now looking for a Manager, Enforcement to join them in the work they are doing to ensure responsible overseas investment for a prosperous New Zealand.
Day to day, our Enforcement Team investigates breaches of the overseas investment legislation and takes appropriate action to maintain the integrity of the regulatory regime. This includes aspects of education, monitoring, site inspections, investigations and enforcement. As the Manager Enforcement, your passion and commitment to consistently drive results and build effective teams combined with your technical nous for drawing knowledge from industry leaders, will mean you’ll find this role offers you a real variety of skill-building and professionally uplifting challenges as you work to develop regulatory strategies and processes.
This role will give you the opportunity to establish yourself as a key influencer, as you work alongside our expert OIO leadership team. Ideally, our successful candidate will hold an LLB and a current practicising certificate. However, equivalent qualifications and/or experience will also be considered.
