Manager, IT Strategy and Engagement

The Office of the Auditor-General | Te Mana Arotake(the Office) is focused on significantly enhancing its influence and impact on the public sector to deliver better results for Aotearoa New Zealand. The Office is dedicated to making a difference to the lives of New Zealanders, by helping to continuously improve the public’s trust in public services and the value those services deliver.

We are looking for someone to lead the ICT strategic direction for our office.

As Manager, IT Strategy and Engagement, you will lead the development and implementation of our Information System Strategic plan and the development of supporting enterprise architecture. You will be an experienced people manager with the ability to lead a great team working on a variety of ICT initiatives.

To be successful, you will have:

  • exceptional engagement, communication, and analytical skills;
  • the ability to recognise challenges and opportunities, and drive ideas;
  • a broad view of the business in general and related understanding of strategy, processes and capabilities, enabling technologies, and governance;
  • knowledge of a range of ICT disciplines, particularly enterprise architecture, agile development, and solution analysis;
  • leadership of change initiatives; and
  • demonstrated ability to lead and influence.

You must be able to gain and maintain a Confidential national security clearance.
