Are you an experienced leader who is able to develop and support HPA’s mental health and wellbeing programmes? Can you build effective relationships, both internally and externally, with key stakeholders and sector partners and lead collaborative projects within the sector? Do you have experience working with Māori and Pasifika communities?
If you have a background in mental health and wellbeing, and would like to work in a small team supporting an organisation making a difference to the health and wellbeing of New Zealanders, we would like to hear from you.
Ko wai mātou | Who we are
The Health Promotion Agency/Te Hiringa Hauora (HPA) leads and delivers innovative, high quality and cost effective national health promotion initiatives. HPA is a Crown entity that works with partners including medical professionals, researchers and academics, community groups, public health advocates, and others who are aligned to our goals.
HPA acknowledges the special relationship between Māori and the Crown under Te Tiriti o Waitangi and is committed to recognise and respect the articles of Te Tiriti. New Zealand’s Māori Health Strategy, He Korowai Oranga sets the overarching framework that guides HPA to achieve the best health outcomes for Māori. HPA encourages and supports staff to learn and enjoy Te Reo, waiata and increase knowledge of Te Ao Māori.
