To support the delivery of ‘Our Business’ the Manager – National Forensic Services will manage, supervise, and advise on the development and delivery of forensic services to and by the N.Z. Police, including the delivery of service by The Institute of Environmental Science and Research (ESR). This exciting opportunity will allow you to leave your own mark on and create the future state for New Zealand Police forensics. If you are a strategic leader, with a passion for forensics and ideas to burn, then this might be the opportunity you have been looking for!



Skills, knowledge and experience:

  • This is a senior national leadership position for a forensic professional. so you will have intimate knowledge of process, systems and structures related to forensics
  • People leadership skills are critical and especially leading specialists
  • Must be able to influence nationally and build district relationships
  • Able to build and maintain effective relationships across the State Sector, external vendors and Five Eyes partner law enforcement agencies
  • Well-developed project management skills, including financial and communication management
  • Must have previous experience in leading an operational service delivery function, preferably nationwide multi-site.
