About the team
This is a busy team who provide payroll support and contractor pay functions to 4,500 employees and 4,500 contractors. The team are in a transformative phase, aiming to be a customer-centric payroll team who are focused on increasing and implementing efficiencies across the payroll function, continuous improvement and making it easy for our customers.
What we’re looking for
First and foremost, you’ll need to be a dynamic and agile leader who understands transformation and can demonstrate your ability to own and execute a vision for the evolution of our payroll function. You’ll need to assess what needs to be done to reach our objectives, determine how we should work, then make it happen.
You’ll need to understand a partial outsourcing model so that you can work closely with our partners in Manila, and it is essential that you will be able to collaborate and engage with stakeholders to simplify the complexities across our payroll function.
Compliance, payroll legislation and processes will be second-nature to you, you will need to be fully-fluent in the Holidays Act and be able to drive compliance and standards across the team.
We are interested in how you get things done – your relationships, your style and your tenacity. We would see you coming from a large complex organisation, where you would have led a team of specialists within a high-volume financial or operational shared services type environment.
