The Cancer Control Agency was established on 1 December 2019 to provide national leadership of, and oversight for, cancer control. The Agency has a key role in driving the system change needed to achieve the ambitious goals set out in the New Zealand Cancer Action Plan 2019-2029.
We are currently recruiting for a key leadership role within the Agency, to join us in the role of Manager – Person/Whānau-Centred Care. In this role, you will provide strategic leadership and guidance to the Agency and broader cancer sector in the design of person and whānau-centred cancer prevention, care and support services, both in primary/community and secondary/tertiary settings.
This role requires a strong communicator, preferably with knowledge of existing cancer health status of communities and whānau, who will drive reduction of inequalities through the implementation of effective models of care across the cancer care continuum, in consultation with a diverse range of stakeholders across the health sector.
