We currently have a permanent full-time position available for a Manager Planning, Investment and Reporting. This role reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer within the Finance Technology and Infrastructure Group and will be based in our Wellington Customhouse.
This is a newly created role that will manage a team responsible for the provision of strategic financial management, investment and non-financial performance advice within Customs and to key external stakeholders. The frameworks that this team will develop and implement, including annual business plans, multi-year budgets, performance measurement, and internal and external reports, will allow Customs to clearly understand and communicate its current performance and to plan and invest in an optimal manner for the future.
The team is also responsible for providing sound advice and leadership on appropriate project management methodologies, policies and procedures to ensure effective programme and project management and monitoring.
