About our team | Mō tō mātou rōpū

Work with the energetic and passionate group (PSU) within the Audit, Risk & Evaluation (ARE) Directorate and champion a high integrity culture across MPI. Reporting to the experienced and passionate Director Audit, Risk and Evaluation within the MPI Compliance and Governance business unit.

About the Role | Kōrero mō te tūranga

  • You will have demonstrated experience in strategic, industry leading and enterprise-wide leadership on matters of integrity and fraud risk.  We mean ‘real’ experience! War stories and all.
  • Educating, innovating and influencing the wider organisation on integrity, culture and conduct which will excite you.
  • You will be strong minded, have a need to do what’s right and a passion for developing a strong culture of integrity
  • The SSC ‘Speak Up’ Standards will be part of your day-to-day vocabulary
  • You will have experience in managing investigations and doing this with diligence, respect and timeliness
  • Finally, you will be managing a small team who are dedciated professionals who embody a high integrity culture

Skills and Experience | Ngā Pūkenga me ngā Wheako

Ideally you will have:

  • A relevant tertiary qualifications and/or qualifications in Investigations (e.g. PEACE training or similar, Tertiary Law qualification, Audit, Accountancy, Certified Fraud Examiner).
  • Extensive and proven knowledge, and capability in integrity response management
  • Experience in a practice leadership role including high performance and capability development
  • Proven ability to be agile, dynamic, flexible and responsive to emerging risks, issues and changing customer needs.
