In Budget 2019, the Government announced $20 million over four years to enhance the capability and capacity of the Ministry to support DHBs’ capital investments, including the establishment of the health infrastructure unit.
The new unit is led by the Deputy Director-General, DHB Performance, Support and Infrastructure and have teams headed up by a Director of Infrastructure and Group Manager, Capital Investment. The high-level functions include design standards, planning, prioritising and monitoring of infrastructure projects and delivery of infrastructure projects.
As the Manager Service Planning, you will be responsible for managing a team and work programme that will provide a long term national understanding of clinical service requirements across DHB services including development and standardisation of service capacity modelling. This will include:
