The opportunity | Te Whiwhinga mahi
In this role you will work with Agency partners to deliver a total system experience for our customers across the Waikato. You will lead the planning and delivery of maintenance, operations and small capital projects on state highway networks, manage resolution of network and maintenance enquiries, you will be expected to work closely with our Council partners also in the region and attend Regional Road Transport Committee meetings.
The role is busy and varied and you will provide technical advice to our stakeholders and be the local spokesperson for highway management, including media interactions and fronting community engagements.
Your expertise in relationship management and working collaboratively with customers and stakeholders will be crucial to your success, as will your ability to build and lead your team.
