We are currently experiencing exponential growth and are scaling our marketing team in New Zealand. Zip requires a Marketing Co-Ordinator to support Zip through its next growth phase. This role sits within the Marketing Team and will be a varied role supporting Zip campaign delivery, Partner Marketing activity and a range of other initiatives to position and promote the usage of Zip as the preferred payment option at checkout.As a Marketing Coordinator, you will be responsible for supporting the ideation, content creation and execution of B2C marketing campaigns, both Zip lead and working with key Retail Partners. You will be working closely with internal team members across design, product, CRM and partner success to leverage our platform investment to ensure we’re giving our customers the best experience possible.This is primarily an execution role. Your remit will be across a range of channels – paid, owned and earned – but will primarily be focused on owned channels including the website, email marketing and social media. You will also have responsibilities interacting with, and delivering activity for, a range of mid-market and SME Zip merchant partners.You will be joining Zip at a significant phase of our rapid growth. As a business we’ve just eclipsed a network of 30k+ of the most popular retailers across the globe and have a global customer base using our digital products.This role is approximately 80% execution, 10% ideation, 10% exploration.

The role:

  • Support the New Zealand Marketing and Growth Team to execute the annual Zip calendar of integrated campaigns and programs that build effective awareness, acquisition and engagement (frequency of Zip usage) of Zip customers across paid (e.g. social, SEM, radio), owned (e.g. email, push, native app) and earned channels (PR and events)
  • Work with the Partner Marketing team to create high quality Partner launch assets across web, social and email for new mid-market and SME Zip Merchant Partners
  • Develop key insights for campaign briefing and media optimisation
  • Create both 1 to 1, and mass communication engagement campaigns targeting our 1,000+ mid market and SME partners to help them get the best results from Zip.
  • Drive compliance with Zip best practice integration, and best practice marketing, with our mid market and SME merchant partner base
  • Support the wider Marketing team with other ad hoc tasks such as contacting competition, winners, ordering required marketing collateral
  • To help us level up, you’ll bring:

  • A tertiary qualification in technology, business, communications or similar as a minimum
  • 2- 3+ years’ experience in a Marketing role, delivering B2B or B2C campaigns in retail/e- commerce or double-sided marketplaces
  • Proven ability to deliver engaging campaigns and content across key digital channels such as web, social media and EDM
  • An understanding the power of data and responds effectively to its insights and learnings
  • Ideally experienced in using basic analytical tools like Google Analytics or Facebook Insights
  • Confident in PPT/Google Slides, Microsoft Word, website CMS and email marketing
