MCS Group is delighted to be working alongside our Ballymena based client, who have ambitious and exciting plans for the future; we are looking to source the best Mechanical Design Engineers on the market who are looking for a challenging and rewarding career working within the Development Engineering Team in a fast-paced environment.What we have to offer:Attractive salary packageCompany bonusFlexible working and half day FridayPrivate Health InsuranceLife InsuranceYour day to day:Responsible for the specification, selection and integration of components and systems into new and existing designs.Develop and design product options in line with customer specifications.Produce engineering detail drawings which can be issued to manufacturing and suppliers.Co-ordinate with the assembly and manufacturing teams to ensure that the design is clearly defined and controlled.Provide system technical information and documentation for both internal and external customers.Provide Technical assistance to production, support engineers and the customer.Produce system layout drawings.Create Bills of Material, specifications and detailed designs.Produce and manage component and systems specifications.Support prototype build, validation and product sign off.You will have:HNC/HND in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent with a number of years of Design/New product development Engineering experience, ideally in heavy engineering or automotive.Experience with 3D & 2D CAD and engineering report writing.To speak in absolute confidence about this opportunity please send an up to date CV via the link provided or contact Kathy Donaghey Specialist Consultant at MCS Group Even if this position is not right for you, we may have others that are.
