Immunology Laboratory – Waikato Hospital Permanent – Full Time, 40 hours per week (1 FTE), Occasional on-call duty. An opportunity you don’t want to miss. The Immunology department at Waikato Hospital laboratory covers serology, autoimmunity, allergy, specific proteins and protein electrophoresis testing. A mix of the latest in automation as well as manual and semi-automated methodologies are used. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated scientist to join a small friendly team. There may also be opportunity to be rostered into the molecular biology laboratory at a later stage. Applicants must be NZ based, registered and hold an APC. The Waikato District Health Board (DHB) is one of the largest of 20 DHBs in New Zealand. We plan, fund and provide health and disability support services to a population of more than 400,000. Clinical specialities include Women’s and Children Services, Cardiology / Cardiothoracic Surgery, Oncology and Haematology, Surgical services, and Mental Health and Addiction. Waikato Hospital is the Midland regional referral centre for multiple specialties including trauma surgery, oncology, and neurology.
