We are looking for a motivated **Merchandising Manager** to join our expanding Auckland based sales team, managing a section of our newly created internal merchandising function. Providing effective and valued service to our customers and Field Sales team, you will play a critical role in driving growth in the Upper North Island. In this role, you will:

+ Deliver quality merchandising activation through effective recruitment, training, coaching and management of your high performing team;

+ Develop strong customer relationships at a store level, ensuring your team provides the required service;

+ Champion a safe business for all through leading the Health and Safety agenda for your team.

**Qualifications**

+ Demonstrated experience within a field sales role, preferably in a fast-paced/FMCG environment

+ A passion for building and sustaining a diverse, high performing team that delivers quality work

+ Strong relationship development skills with proven consistent delivery against customer expectations

+ Strong communication skills, with the ability to influence others to drive change

+ Previous experience managing and coaching a team is advantageous although not essential if you have strong FMCG industry experience
