About the role
We are looking for an enthusiastic and engaging Mining Engineer to join our team at Waikato North Head Mine Site. Based in Otaua (20 km outside of Pukekohe) and reporting to the Mine Manager this role requires a strong focus on short, medium and long-term mine planning/mine engineering excellence. You will be a key resource in the management of key projects, mine surveys and managing the mine site environmental plans and initiatives.

This is a key specialist role within the technical team, so you will therefore be expected to display strong initiative, work autonomously and be an effective and constructive team member, enhancing your own and colleagues personal development.
Responsibilities will include but not limited to:
Permanent full-time role
Role Location: Waikato North Head mine site, Otaua
Hours: Monday – Friday 40 hours per week

Adept at problem solving and a strong drive to work as part of a collaborative team, your ability to take ownership of the role within a changing work environment will be the key to your success in this role.
