About the role

We are now seeking x4 Mining Operators to join our busy and dynamic WNH team.

The Operator will undertake a variety of tasks across the Mining function.

Reporting to the Mining Supervisor, the tasks will include mining and ancillary activities depending on the area you are working.

With an uncompromising attitude to safety, you will rotate between operating the Bucket Wheel Excavator, operating the Belt Wagon, tracking our conveyor belts or assisting with track shifts.

About the person

With daily targets and high expectations to achieve, it is critical that you have the following to apply:

  • A clean Full Class 2 drivers licence at a minimum is essential
  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • Self-motivated and can demonstrate high levels of initiative
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Willingness to positively contribute to a diverse and inclusive work environment
  • WTR is advantageous but not essential
  • The role is rostered on a 24/7 shift pattern working 12hr shifts (4 on 4 off) and experience within mining, quarrying or earthmoving equipment operations is advantageous.
