Musculoskeletal Outpatient Physiotherapist

  • Dunedin

About you

The Outpatient Physiotherapy Department at Dunedin Hospital is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic physiotherapist to join the team. We are looking for a team-player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills who is driven and proactive in developing and learning, and shows proficiency in managing a busy and varied caseload.

The ideal candidate would have a minimum of two years relevant experience which includes working in musculoskeletal assessment, treatment and rehabilitation. Experience with both routine and complex rheumatology and orthopaedic conditions, and with the management of persistent pain and chronic pathologies would be an advantage.

We seek a clinician who can work autonomously while engaging with our well-established and supportive team, and participate in regular peer review and collaboration. This role involves working with a wide range of patients referred from Fracture Clinic, Orthopaedics, Rheumatology and other specialist outpatient services, as well as General Practitioner and community referrals including first presentation ACC injuries.
