Your inspirational and influencing leadership approach, sound operational experience including business acumen skills, along with your knowledge and compassion of the social services sector are key qualities that we are looking for in the National Manager Residential Services role.
In this critical national role, you will be leading a multidisciplinary team of dedicated professional staff. You will take the lead in working at a national and regional level to develop and implement initiatives that improve outcomes for children in care, especially Maori tamariki and rangatahi.
You will have an awareness of and be empathetic to the challenges for children and young people and our care providers. Being skilled at influencing people comes naturally as well as your ease in building relationships and credibility. You will bring energy and commitment to develop a strategy that will strengthen relationships between children, young people and their families, whānau, hapu and iwi, and respects children’s sense of belonging and identity.
