The High Tech Crime Group is seeking a talented Network Architect to join our small team. This role will give you a unique opportunity to work and develop in a key growth area and you will be exposed to technologies and concepts that few other organisations can offer.

 

You’ll need to know networking inside out, and an ideal candidate will have good skills in at least two of the following: storage, servers, virtualisation or security. Telco experience would be a real bonus. There may be a need to work in the field from time to time so you will need to be physically and mentally able. There may be requirement for a physical and psychological assessment.

 

This role will suit someone already working as a Network Architect, and is looking for a “hands on” role or someone who has significant experience as a Senior Network Engineer in complex enterprise environments. You will have exceptional project management skills, the ability to prioritise conflicting tasks effectively, and proven analytical/problem solving skills.

 

As a Network Architect in the High Tech Crime Group, you will be able to demonstrate the following technical requirements:

  • Show a broad range of knowledge and experience relating to network technologies including monitoring
  • Demonstrates sound and recent experience in enterprise information security
  • Demonstrates knowledge and understanding of Government Security guidelines and requirements
  • Recent demonstrable experience in complex, high security network design, implementation and management

 

The successful candidate for this role will:

  • Pay attention to detail and have the flexibility to cope with change
  • Have the ability to rapidly absorb, understand and apply new concepts and technologies
  • Be capable of making sound decisions under pressure
