NZ Post operates the largest logistics network in New Zealand. Due to internal mobility, we’re seeking a Network Design Business Analyst.About the RoleThis is a varied and challenging role where you’ll support the development and implementation of network design and performance strategy and tactical / strategic decision making by the provision of accurate and complete analysis and insights. This incluSupport des assisting with the onboarding of new product / services / locations (working with the wider NDC team and Customer teams)This role works closely with the Network Design and Performance manager and reports directly to the Manager of Network Performance and Capability. Collaboration with the wider business and external customers is also required with respect to: Network design analysis (understanding constraints and parameters) Incl. Assisting with the analysis and feedback when onboarding of new product, services or locations into the networkRegional planning (future location on property, courier sizing etc)Analysis of delay points, network hotspots and general network performance (mail and parcel)Support in the development of performance reporting as requiredAd hoc support for other business functions as required (e.g. Transport) Analysis of network design, capacity and impactsDevelopment of performance reporting and auditsModelling of product and service network flow to determine pricing and revenue About YouWe’re looking for an experienced Business Analyst with experience in financial analysis (i.e. pricing, revenue, cost to serve) and ideally exposure to the logistics industry. You’ll need both Excel and SQL skills and a logical approach to problem solving. This is a varied role where no two days will be the same, and you’ll have the opportunity to take ownership and add value to business decisions.
