We are recruiting for a fixed term Network Strategy Analyst , within the Network Strategy and Market Intelligence team, which plays a core role in shaping the network strategy and growth agenda within Air New Zealand. This an exciting opportunity to play a role in the re-emergence of the airlines network post COVID in line with its long-term vision, assessing NZ’s competitiveness in key markets and formulating appropriate strategic responses to changing market conditions.

An expert in bringing data to life, and visualising a range of potential options you will be able to develop contingencies that help provide clear direction for future strategy.

This is a collaborative role that provides the opportunity to work with a wide range of diverse areas in the business. Your ‘can-do’ attitude and emphasis on teamwork will allow you to uncover opportunities within this integrated team.
To be successful in this role you will hold a university degree in a related or relevant discipline and ideally have experience working in a commercial / strategy / network environment. Excellent analytical and data visualisation skills will be clearly demonstrated through your mastery of Excel, Power BI/Query; SQL would be beneficial, but not required.
You will have the desire to take complex/challenging/ ambiguous issues, and distil them to core drivers with simple messages to drive action. Equally focused on internal and external customers, you will have the ability to work with a wide range of range of stakeholders to drive change, and have strong commercial and strategic acumen.
