An independently owned and operated NZ business who has been trading for over 20 years. They supply a range of premium brands to market into both the grocery and food service trade and B2C markets. They are undergoing a sustained period of growth and have also recently diversified their product portfolio with great success. The company has taken the time to invest in its people and customer partnerships. This has formed one of the cornerstones of their success.
As a newly created role, the purpose of the North Island Field Sales Manager is to be responsible for sales and promotional strategies across key North Island retail channels to ensure sales and profit targets are achieved across the team. This role has a key coaching and leadership element to it to inspire your team of Account Manager to grow and continually challenge themselves while maintaining professional standards and processes.

As North Island Field Sales Manager you will be in a key leadership role within the business and a member of the leadership team. The role is highly focused on growth and development of all regions and team members across the North Island and we are looking for an individual who can bring demonstrated experience in leading a high performing FMCG sales team.
You will have a proven track record of implementing quality processes across the team and able to coach and develop a sales team to get the best out of them to both develop their careers and ensure monthly sales targets and consistently met. FMCG experience is a must for this role and experience within liquor channels would be desirable.
