They supply a range of premium brands to market into both the grocery and food service trade and B2C markets. They are undergoing a sustained period of growth and have also recently diversified their product portfolio with great success.     The opportunity

    As a newly created role, the purpose of the North Island Field Sales Manager is to be responsible for sales and promotional strategies across key North Island retail channels to ensure sales and profit targets are achieved across the team. This role has a key coaching and leadership element to it to inspire your team of Account Manager to grow and continually challenge themselves while maintaining professional standards and processes.
    Some of your key responsibilities will be to:

  • Coach, lead and develop a team of 7x Account Managers across the North Island
  • Work with key internal stakeholders from Brand Managers to Key Account Managers to oversee brand activity implementations
  • Develop regional plans to deliver monthly sales targets
  • Development and continuous reviews of sales processes from call cycles, plans, reporting, reviews and new business opportunities
  • Set relevant and measurable KPI’s to ensure professional standards are met across the team
  • Review monthly sales reports to make decisions around opportunities and challenges
  • Relationship building and always looking for value added selling across all customers and regions
  • A key contributor across all sales and marketing team planning and strategy

The role is highly focused on growth and development of all regions and team members across the North Island and we are looking for an individual who can bring demonstrated experience in leading a high performing FMCG sales team.

    You will have a proven track record of implementing quality processes across the team and able to coach and develop a sales team to get the best out of them to both develop their careers and ensure monthly sales targets and consistently met. FMCG experience is a must for this role and experience within liquor channels would be desirable.
