Excellent opportunity to join a high performing operational risk teamUse your domain knowledge with data and/or technology to uplift risk management practice across our businessDevelop and grow an in-demand skillsetAbout The RoleIn this role, you will have the opportunity to:Provide sound Operational and Compliance risk advice to the Personal Banking and Data & Marketing business units, with a focus on the risks caused by data and change.Enhance the knowledge around data and change risk for your key stakeholders.Work in an agile team environment that values collaboration and innovationProvide subject matter expertise, and lead and embed a culture where risk is everyone’s responsibilityContribute to cost effective, seamless and robust business operations by embedding the ANZ I.AM Operational Risk and Compliance FrameworkContribute to creating efficiencies for the business, balancing risk and customer outcomesDemonstrate your analytical, research and problem-solving expertiseBuild and foster relationships with key stakeholders across the business and wider organisationRole Location: WellingtonRole Type: 12-month secondment, Full TimeAbout YouTo grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:3+ years risk experience within the business OR experience in Data Analytics OR Technology – using data to enable delivery and know how to manage Data securely (perhaps you have experience as a BA, Database Manager or Information Security Manager)Exposure to and thorough understanding of ANZ Operational and Compliance Risk ManagementAbility to build strong, open and collaborative working relationships, including communicating with and influencing senior stakeholdersAbility to manage priorities and conflicting issues in a professional mannerAbility to use initiative. Be proactive by taking action and be persistent and resilient in addressing issuesDemonstrate thought leadership with sound experience managing risk in an agile environmentVery strong understanding of processes and policies, in particularly Personal Banking and/or Data & Marketing.Strong oral and written communication skills, including confidence with presenting to senior stakeholdersAbout ANZOur purpose is to shape a world where people and communities thrive.
