About the role

We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Operator tojoin our Paintline team at our Steel Mill in Glenbrook.

This is a fixed term position for 6 months

To maintain our exceptional product standards and thecontinued smooth running of our operations, this role will require you tofulfil the following duties;

  • loading and unloading products onto trucks for distribution
  • operate, clean and set up manufacturing equipment in a safe manner
  • working unsupervised and within a team.
  • having high attention-to-detail and accountability, ensuring a positive impact to the business
  • The successful applicant will undergo training to safely operate plantand equipment at any work station within the Paintline area

    Hours: Please note: This is a shift work position. The normal working hours for this position is 48hours per week (12 hour / 4 shift rotating pattern) however to ensure thatoperational requirements are met, you may be required to work additional hourswhen needed.

  • Desired:

  • Previous experience in the heavy manufacturing
  • Experience operating forklifts and/or cranes is desirable but not essential
