As the Parliamentary Executive Support and Researcher to Eugenie Sage, you’ll put your research, administration and multi-tasking skills to good use in this varied and rewarding environment. You’ll be happy to work autonomously within Parliament, while being relied upon to provide your MP with research and briefings on their particular areas of interest.

This is a multifaceted role where no two days are the same, some of your key responsibilities may include:

  • Managing your MPs busy inbox, diary and coordinating travel bookings
  • Researching and developing in-depth knowledge/expertise on your MPs areas of interest – including conservation, oceans, environment and waste
  • Organising briefing notes for your MP for Select Committees and the House on sitting weeks
  • Organising and booking meetings, preparing agendas and taking minutes
  • Providing advice and reporting on the office budget and expenses
  • Coordinating high quality events and functions for your MP
  • Evaluate social media performance and develop engaging regular content

This is an events based, fixed-term role linked to the MP, working 40 hours per week. Some flexibility in hours may be required.

The appointing salary band for this role is $ to $57,833 to $72,292 per annum. Appointments will be based on your skills and experience.
