As the Parliamentary Senior MP Support to Ginny Andersen, MP for Hutt South, you’ll ensure everything runs smoothly in their Hutt South Electorate Office day in and day out. With no two days the same, this role requires someone with strong relationship building and time management skills.

A typical day may include the following:

  • Office management including developing and overseeing the office budget
  • Providing high quality advice and advocacy to the constituents in your community
  • Leadership and mentoring of your colleagues in the office
  • Building, developing and maintaining strong relationships within the community
  • Managing and responding to correspondence and emails

This is an events-based, fixed-term role linked to the MP, working 40 hours per week. Some flexibility in hours may be required.

The appointing salary band for this role is $57,833 to $72,292 per annum. Appointments will be based on your skills and experience.
