We are looking for both a permanent and fixed term Payroll Officer to support the payroll team to provide operational payroll services to the Department. This role is responsible for supporting the payroll team and assigned projects to ensure that all payroll related activities are completed in a timely and accurate manner and that sound advice and query resolution is provided with a strong customer focus. 

This is a high pace, professional environment with the opportunity to work alongside motivated people who are inclusive and engaging. 

You will use your impeccable relationship management and communication skills to manage relationships internal clients across the organisation.

To be successful in this challenging role you will need to be adaptable, quick to learn, and able to work under pressure in a multi-work stream environment. You will also need:

  • Experience in using SAP Payroll is an advantage
  • Experience working in a high pressure and fast paced environment
  • To be motivated to achieve success in your role and work well within a team environment
  • To have excellent relationship management skills and customer service skills
