About our group and team
The Evidence Synthesis and Dissemination group tells the data and evidence stories about education outcomes and wellbeing and disseminates the information on the Education Counts website. Overall we are committed to creating high quality evidence to inform policy and practice
About this role
The Personal Assistant (PA) is the first point of contact on behalf of the Group Manager (GM), Evidence Synthesis and Dissemination. They provide pro-active, highly responsive and confidential administrative support and assistance to the GM, ensuring that they are well supported to meet their many demands. As required they also support the three managers in the group.
They ensure conflicting demands are managed with sensitivity and have sound judgement in dealing with the various tasks and work requests received.
The PA manages a range of relationships with Ministry staff at all levels and with key stakeholders. They work with other members of the support team in the wider Evidence Data and Knowledge group.
You will have demonstrated experience as a Personal Assistant or similar role and be someone who can build and maintain positive relationships with people at all levels. You’ll have a positive approach and be committed to doing a quality job at speed across a range of administrative tasks.
